Anytime a company, especially a survey company, offers anything for free I am immediately skeptical. But recently I received a $1,000 Gift Card to Victoria’s Secret. However looking back, being someone who participated in the whole Free iPods craze and actually received a free iPod, I really shouldn’t have been all that skeptical.I had done surveys in the past on my college campus for some quick cash but had never done any online surveys. Those quick and easy surveys on campus paid $30 immediately so I figured I might as well try out the Victoria’s Secret survey. The only information it asks for is email address and zip code so I really wasn’t worried about them collecting too much of my information. I was willing to risk a little bit of spam to one of my secondary email addresses in return for a $1000 gift card and the risk definitely paid off, literally!
